Subscriptions

Subscription is a means by which clients may add their email address to the department's email distribution lists for Public Offering Notices and Results for both Petroleum and Natural Gas (P&NG) and Oil Sands, Information Letters and Information Bulletins issued by Oil,Tenure or Oil Sands, Gas Royalty Information Bulletins and Bioenergy Producer Credit information. The electronic subscription lists are maintained through an automated system and you can subscribe or unsubscribe to each one directly from this page, or from your email program.

A notification will be sent by e-mail. Items available at time of publishing include:

• Notices of updates to published information about this program available on the Alberta Energy website, such as grant recipient results and changes to forms and guidelines.
• General reminders or notices, such as reporting deadlines for grant recipients

Changed email address

If your email address is changing it is important for you to:

• first unsubscribe from each distribution list individually using your old email address,
• then subscribe to the each applicable distribution list(s) you wish to continue to receive information from.

Undelivered and old email addresses
If it is believed that the 'undeliverable' mail is a result of an old email address, then measures will be taken to have these email addresses removed.

Subscribing using your email

To manually subscribe and add your email address to the mailing list, follow the steps below.

Please note: You may only subscribe to one list at a time. A separate email must be sent to subscribe to additional lists.

1. Open a new message in your email program

2. In the "TO" box, enter: EnergyLists@enr.gov.ab.ca

3. In the "SUBJECT" box: type one of the following:

The message should read [subscribe + space + the name of the 'list' you are writing to]. There should not be any additional information in the body of the message; otherwise the subscribe will not work.

4. Send

When completed, you will receive an email confirming the addition of your email address to the list. You will need to respond to the confirmation email or the subscribe process will be cancelled.

5. Reply to confirmation email

Reply to the confirmation email when it arrives to finalize your subscription. If not replied to, the system will cancel your subscription.

Unsubscribing using your email

To manually unsubscribe and remove your email address from the mailing list follow the steps below.

Please note: You may only unsubscribe to one list at a time. A separate email must be sent to unsubscribe to additional lists.

1. Open a new message in you email program
